Brotherhood ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Brotherhood mobile application ("the App"), available on iOS.
By using Brotherhood, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We collect the following categories of information:

The core data you create inside Brotherhood is stored on your device and synced to our cloud database so you can restore it on new devices. This includes:

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.
Your data is stored in two places:
Access to cloud data is protected by Row Level Security (RLS), meaning each user can only access their own records. We do not have standing access to read individual users' content.
Brotherhood integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs its use of data.
Supabase (database and authentication)
Supabase stores your account credentials and all cloud-synced app data. It is hosted on AWS.

Apple App Store (iOS payment processing)
Subscriptions purchased on iOS are billed through Apple. We do not see or store your payment details.

Google Play (Android payment processing)
Subscriptions purchased on Android are billed through Google Play. We do not see or store your payment details.

Stripe (web payment processing)
Subscriptions purchased on the web are billed through Stripe. We pass your email to Stripe when you subscribe on the web. We never see or store your card details.

Expo / Expo Push Notification Service (push notifications)
If you opt into notifications, your device push token is stored and used via Expo's push notification infrastructure.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your stored data from our cloud database within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records).
Data stored locally on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear the app's storage through your device settings.

Brotherhood is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, disclose, or sell. We do not sell personal information. To make a request under the California Consumer Privacy Act, contact us at brotherhoodsupportteam@gmail.com.
Brotherhood is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will provide a more prominent notice within the App.
